KickApps Starter Kit

KickApps provides brands, enterprises and web publishers with solutions that enable them to create and manage next generation web experiences that are social, interactive, dynamic, distributed, and data-informed. KickApps solutions consist of a suite of hosted social and media applications and services that are used by some of the world’s largest websites and brands to grow & engage their online audiences and foster deeper relationships with customers.

I had planned on building a .vsi package for a KickApps Starter Kit but got frustrated with the support from KickApps along the way. This Starter Kit is integrated with the AccessDataProvider Starter Kit from Microsoft.

There are a few appSettings in the web.config and you should be good to go. I have not tested anything.

Hi Victor I am in need of extended personal kits. But the issue I have with this is my hosting co. does not allow access database. Is it as simple as changing the datasource for each dataprovider section.

Unfotunately I don’t thin so. I created some stored procedures (parameter queries) in Access that would not exist in the other databases.

Victor, I downloaded you MS Access based starter kit some time ago and loved it. I lost it when my pc crashed. Can I get it from you? The link in the forums for the .vsi is no longer valid.
